Brews and Bias

A Faith-Based Dialogue Series Rooted in Justice, Joy, and Beloved Community
Sip slow. Speak truth. Seek justice.
Brews and Bias is a sacred invitation to gather, reflect, and grow. Over coffee, tea, or your favorite brewed beverage, we create space for courageous conversations about race, bias, and faith—grounded in scripture, cultural wisdom, and the vision of Beloved Community.
Whether you’re a lay leader, pastor, or passionate community member, this program equips you to host transformative dialogue in intimate, joy-filled settings. Together, we confront bias, deepen empathy, and build the kind of community God dreams of.

🌱 What Is Brews and Bias?
Brews and Bias is a faith-rooted dialogue initiative designed to help congregations:
• Confront and unlearn racial bias
• Build micro-communities of reflection and action
• Equip lay leaders to facilitate trauma-informed, joy-centered conversations
• Reframe racial justice as sacred, communal, and spiritually formative
Inspired by the early church’s house-to-house gatherings (Acts 2) and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of Beloved Community, Brews and Bias turns everyday hospitality into a doorway for transformation.
This is not just a program—it’s a practice.
Sip slow. Speak truth. Seek justice.
